Level 4 and level 16 are nearly identical.

If a bonus block is broken while another block is underneath it, the bonus will not appear and thus be wasted.

Level 21 is the last to feature bonus blocks. After that, you're on your own.

The turtle hazard is actually necessary to complete certain levels and indeed, finish the game. This is because there are a limited number of trajectories possible for when the ball bounces off the paddle, a block, or a wall. In certain levels, unbreakable barriers are positioned in areas where, due to these limits, the levels are unfinishable under normal circumstances. Only when turtles are introduced, which offer unpredictable trajectories, can the ball get to any of the otherwise unreachable blocks.

On level 20 and level 30, and possibly other levels as well, it is possible to get the ball caught in an endless loop of bouncing. The only way to avoid this is to have at least one turtle on the screen. A turtle should eventually walk into the ball's path, changing its trajectory and freeing it from its prison.

When level 30 is completed, and the game won, the player is unceremoniously dropped back to the title screen with no option to enter his or her signature. Signature entry is only possible after all lives are lost.

An alternate version of the game, with an early Travellmate logo, exists. The startup chime is also unique, and quite crude.
